Fink Hymenoptera collection (Insecta, Hymenoptera)
The collection consists of dry-preserved specimens of hymenopterans (Insecta: Hymenoptera) assembled through the collecting activities of Professor Nikola Fink, Ph.D. The material originates predominantly from Croatia and the former Yugoslavia and spans the period from the 1880s to the present day (19th, 20th, and 21st centuries).
Most of the material has been studied and published in the works of Fink (1923), Vogrin (1955), and Van der Zanden and Perović, both of whom authored multiple publications based on this material.
