Novak insect collection (Insecta)
The collection was formed over a longer period as a result of the work of entomologists Ivan Novak and his son Petar Novak. In addition to beetles, it also includes specimens of true bugs (Hemiptera). Given the collecting localities and the quality of professional processing, this is a representative collection of the beetle fauna of Dalmatia. Part of the beetle specimens are systematically arranged in entomological boxes with clearly indicated nomenclature, and this portion of the collection has been inventoried and digitized.
