The workshop includes a short guided tour of the exhibition SUPERORGANISM – THE POWER OF LIFE OF SOCIAL INSECTS, led by one of the exhibition’s authors, Dr. sc. Martina Podnar Lešić.
Social insects are excellent builders, so together we will try to build an ant bridge, a hive, or a bivouac. Visitors will also have the chance to roll a ball on our model of Waddington’s epigenetic landscape and discover whether they are a “queen”, “soldier”, or “worker”.
If you want to learn more about social insects, join us and discover the life of ants, bees, wasps, and termites through guided interpretation, creative activities, and puzzles.
