Expert panel on the implementation of museum investments with the help of ITU mechanisms
The Ethnographic Museum and the Croatian Natural History Museum invite you to the Expert panel on the implementation of museum investments with the help of ITU mechanisms, which will be held at the Ethnographic Museum on 23 November 2021, from 12:00 to 13:00.
The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, with the support of the European Commission, is once again organising “EU Project Open Days”, which will take place from 20 to 30 November 2021.
The aim of “EU Project Open Days” is to present to the widest public the projects that have contributed to the development of local communities in various areas.
Two museum projects make an exceptional contribution to culture in the Zagreb urban agglomeration:
The project of the Ethnographic Museum, which includes the arrangement of museum storage facilities and restoration workshops under the title “Reconstruction of the abandoned building of the Zemaljska uzorita pivnica in Kačićeva Street”, is financed under the ITU brownfield location position.
The project of the Croatian Natural History Museum “Heritage Guardian as a Catalyst for Development, Research and Learning – the new Croatian Natural History Museum” is financed as a strategic project under the ITU position – increasing employment and tourist spending through the improvement of cultural heritage.
At the panel, the interested public will be able to learn about the possibilities of financing through the ITU mechanism, find out more about the goals and expected results of the mentioned museum projects, as well as about the possibilities, limitations and other challenges that beneficiaries encounter during implementation.
Panel participants:
Moderator: Marina Ljubišić, project team leader representing the City of Zagreb
Director of the CNHM, Prof. Tatjana Vlahović, PhD
Director of the EMZ, Goranka Horjan, PhD
Representative of the City of Zagreb as project partner, confirmation expected
IMPORTANT: Attendance at the panel in person is possible only with a COVID certificate.
