VIRTUAL HERBARIUM
The Virtual Herbarium of the Croatian Natural History Museum is a database of photographed herbarium specimens from the Herbarium of Higher Plants and the Trinajstić Herbarium. Only inventoried specimens have been photographed, and the photographs also show labels with the corresponding data. The Virtual Herbarium is regularly updated, depending on the processing of new specimens.

PLAY MEMORY
Remember where each natural object is hidden and find its pair! Find as many as possible, as quickly as possible. In every new attempt, there is a new arrangement, as well as new pictures. The game can be played individually, but also with others. It can also be played as a competition. Find out who has a better memory and who is faster — you or your friends!
GEOLOGICAL PERIODS PUZZLE
In this game, we learn about geological periods, their names, durations and the main events that took place during them. To start solving the puzzle, shuffle the pictures and continue the game by clicking on a picture, which will then move to the empty field. A small aid in arranging the geological periods is provided by the sequence numbers on the pictures, which can also be hidden, making the game more challenging. The goal is to complete the puzzle in the shortest possible time.

Download the coloring book “Extinct Giants of Croatia” and discover which other extinct giants from the geological past lived in the area of present-day Croatia.
Here is an opportunity to become a paleontologist, at least briefly in your imagination, and by coloring these animals, complete the reconstruction of their appearance. Be sure to pay attention to the environment in which the animal lived! A short interesting fact about each of these animals can give you some guidance on how to color it, or you can simply be creative and imaginative. Pick up your colored pencils and finish the work of a paleontologist, creating a new look for these extinct giants using both your knowledge and your imagination.
