Museum – Guardian of Identity – Presentation on the 35th International Museum Day
The Croatian Natural History Museum will also participate in the cultural event organized to mark the jubilee 35th International Museum Day, which will be held from 16 to 18 May 2015.
In line with this year’s theme – Museums for a Sustainable Society – our Museum will present itself with the presentation «MUSEUM – Guardian of Identity», which will provide visitors with an overview of the continuous work of the Croatian Natural History Museum.
The Croatian Natural History Museum has preserved valuable collections of natural history material for many years. Among these collections, which still form the basis for the development of science and culture of the Croatian people as important determinants of a sustainable society, the mineralogical-petrographic museum collections hold a significant place.
