Human Evolution and Krapina Neanderthal Workshops
The Croatian Natural History Museum invites children to take part in a series of educational paleontological and creative workshops exploring human evolution, Neanderthal life, and Stone Age art. Through interactive presentations, educational games, and hands-on activities, participants will discover the fascinating story of our ancient ancestors while learning through play and creativity.
🧠 Human Evolution
This paleontological workshop introduces participants to geological periods, the origins of life on Earth, and the evolution of hominins. Through presentations, replicas, games, and practical activities, children will learn about the most important human ancestors.

🔥 Life of the Krapina Neanderthals
Who were the Neanderthals, and why are the Krapina discoveries among the most important in the world? This workshop explores the appearance, lifestyle, diet, and daily life of the Krapina Neanderthals, while highlighting the significance of the famous Skull C.

🎨 PaleoArt – Creative Workshop
Inspired by Stone Age creativity, participants will create jewellery from natural materials, make bracelets inspired by Neanderthal DNA patterns, draw prehistoric scenes, and contribute to a large collaborative woolly mammoth collage.
