We are delighted to welcome the cheerful and imaginative performance “My Mom Asks If You Have an Egg” (5+) by Teatar Poco Loco, co-produced with the Split City Puppet Theatre.

The play is based on the picture book of the same name by author Tisja Kljaković Braić and brings a warm and humorous story about a girl named Nastja and her colorful Split neighborhood.

While her mother keeps telling her not to run and jump because of their neighbor Mrs. Čagalj, Nastja uses her vivid imagination to create an entire gallery of unusual characters: Anđelka the Hen, Božo Linčina who finds everything exhausting, neighbor Tapirka who is afraid of hairdressers, the Squid of Dark Thoughts, the famous liar Uholaž, and many others.

Are these neighbors really animals?

“There’s nothing unusual about it when you’re a child and your imagination is working — you create such a world in an instant, where anything and everything is possible!”

🎶 Filled with music, creative scenography, and recognizable illustrations, this 40-minute performance takes us into a playful world of childhood and imagination — in the most beautiful city in the world!

Join us at the museum for a theatrical adventure under the open sky (or under our atrium 😉) and spend your Sunday morning with laughter, music, and imagination!

See you there! 💛
