WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN: Let’s Learn to Draw a Dinosaur (Diplodocus)
Dinosaurs are very popular and loved by everyone, so why not learn how to draw them? To begin with, let’s learn how to draw one of the most famous and most adorable dinosaurs – Diplodocus.
It was a huge but slow dinosaur, about 20 meters long and weighing around 10 tons. It was long considered one of the longest dinosaurs. Although enormous, it was a herbivore, meaning it ate only plants. It is recognizable by its very long neck and tail and four short, pillar-like legs. It lived about 150 million years ago, in the geological period called the Jurassic.
The shape of Diplodocus is very simple and we can draw it in just 5 steps. Try it with us step by step. Follow the instructions and you will succeed. If your first drawing is not perfect, don’t worry – with a little practice it will get better. Draw several of them and add a big tree in the background.
Tip: first draw with a pencil, then outline with a marker.
