General collection of recent molluscs
The general recent molluscs collection contains terrestrial, freshwater, marine, and subterranean molluscs from the territory of Croatia, as well as from neighbouring countries with which Croatia has been in a state union over the past 150 years. The collection includes type specimens. The majority of the material is preserved as dry preparations (shells), while the remainder is conserved in alcohol or formalin.
