Ljudevit Rossi molluscs collection
Ljudevit Rossi recent molluscs collection contains mollusc species collected in Croatia and neighbouring countries in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. All material in the collection is preserved as dry preparations (mollusc shells). Terrestrial gastropods predominate in terms of both species and specimen numbers. Freshwater species are somewhat less represented, while marine molluscs from the Adriatic Sea are also included.
