Herbarium of higher plants (vascular flora)
The herbarium collection of higher plants contains herbarium specimens of plants, mostly collected through field research over the past 30 years. In terms of content, it primarily covers the vascular flora of Croatia, as well as plants from other countries obtained through donations. The collection is expanded every year and is ultimately intended to present the full richness and diversity of the Croatian flora. As a document of this time, the existing botanical fund represents a valuable source of data for both experts and the general public, and contributes to a better understanding and protection of the Croatian flora.
